Description

KTH HIGH GLOSS ALKYD ENAMEL 9900 is premium quality solvent-based alkyd enamel.

It is easy to apply to smooth and very high gloss finishing to the painted surfaces.

It is most suitable for exterior and interior use and having good gloss and color retention for both applications. It is also resistant to algae and mold growth.

Uses

As top-coat in a multi-coat coating system.

Most suitable for use on primed steel, GI, wood, and other surfaces. 

Surface Preparation

For the new and previously painted surface of wood, metal, and others.

Previously painted surface and bare substrate must be completely dry and free from rust, mill scale, dirt, grease, and other contaminants before painting.

For maximum adhesion and durability of the paint performance, all bare surfaces should be prepared by meant of sandpaper, hand tools, power tools and etc.

• Wood Surface 
  • Coats 1 layer with KTH White Undercoat 701
  • Coats 2 layer with KTH High Gloss Alkyd Enamel 9900
• Metal Surface 
  • Coats 1 layer with KTH Grey Green Oxide Primer 736 Or KTH Red Oxide Primer 750
  • Coats 1 layer with KTH White Undercoat 701
  • Coats 2 layer with KTH High Gloss Alkyd Enamel 9900

 Preparation

• Stir the paint well before use. The mild steel substrate must be completely dry and free from rust, mill scale, dirt, grease, and other contaminants before painting.
• Thinning: If necessary, use 5% – 10% general purposes thinner and stir well.

Safety

1. This product is flammable. Keep away from sources of ignition.
2. Keep container tightly closed and keep out of reach of children.
3. Wear suitable personal protective clothing during painting.
4. Ensure adequate ventilation. Do not breathe or inhale spray mist.
5. Do not apply when the relative humidity exceeds 85%.
6. Avoid skin and eye contact. Spillage on the skin should be removed immediately with cleanser, soap, and water. The eye should be well flushed with water and seek medical advice immediately if discomfort persists.
