KTH BLACK MATT PRIMER 786

KTH Industrial Primer is an economical solvent based metal and wood primer for both interior and exterior use. It is formulated to give good performance and longevity of the topcoat to enhance the quality. KTH 786 BLACK MATT is single component high build, solvent based alkyd, matt finishing enamel. It has fast drying time, and gives smooth, very even matt finishing to painted surfaces. It is designed for wrought iron grill work. A suitable clear top-coat should be painted to protect 786 Black Matt for exterior weather-ability

Uses :

• As intermediate coat in a multi-coat coating system. Most suitable for use on wrought iron, steel, GI and others surfaces.
• This product is ready to use often stir thoroughly
• However, if thinning is required, not more than 10% KTH Thinner 457 may be added

Wood: The wood surface must be dry and clean from dirt, grease, defective and poorly adhering material. Smoothen the surfaces with sandpaper and clean the surface before applying the primer.

Metal: The metal surface must be dry and clean from diet, grease and poorly adhering material. Smoothen the surface with sandpaper or metal brush to remove the rust. Clean the surface after smoothen.

Old paint surface: Clean all old paint or peeled paint. The surface must be dry and free from grease, rust dust and other poorly adhering material.
