Reduced hex nipple is a threaded type fitting which connects two pipes of different diameter in a straight direction. It provides a straight connection between pipes to support a leak-free system up and smooth operation process. It is used to connect a larger female pipe to a smaller female pipe. This hex nipple has connections of male NPT (tapered) thread with a hexagon nut body in the middle. The hexagon nut body of the hex nipple allows operators or users to easily tighten and loose the fitting using a wrench. Hex nipple is particularly useful in connecting two female pipe ends together.
